This condition is being brought about by the regurgitation or the abnormal reflux of your stomach’s acid back into your throat. Stomach acid is quite strong, since they are mainly used to break down the foods that you eat. Therefore, when they go to places in your system where they are not supposed to be, they can cause certain damages, especially in the esophagus lining.
